Russian Agencies Participating in the "Bion-M1" Project

The Cosmos Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Federal Space Agency are the sponsors of the Bion-M1 project.

The Russian Federation State Research Center Ц Institute of Biomedical Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMBP) is the lead center responsible for the development of a scientific research program, specifications of the hardware required to implement the program, and organization of international cooperation within the framework of the Bion-M1 project.

The State Space Rocketry Center Ц CSDB-Progress is the lead center responsible for the design and manufacture of the Bion-M launcher and spacecraft.
